I still think we have to determine that you HAVE a soundblaster, or "equivalent".

Go into your Control Panel. Click on System.

IT will come up witha dialogue box with four tabs, for System Properties. General, Device Manager, Hardware Profiles and Performance. Now, click on the Device Manager.

On my system, I clook at the ACPI section, and then select the PCI Bus, since my SoundBlaster card is attached to that. On your system, you probably have it set somewhere different, so you might have tolook around for the Sound.
