Also, I posted information about finding out what sound card you have in this thread, here.

I'm just speculating, but if your other programs work fine, I don't think the problem's the sound card or driver. It's something to do with Cakewalk regonizing it's there. I HAD this problem, but I'm durned if I can remember what I did to fix it!
