The John Tams track mentioned, Harry Stone, also bears a strong resemblance to the Kate Rusby track referred to much earlier in that they are both about the writer's collier grandfather (and both won BBC Folk Awards). The band members on Harry Stone were from the Lingdale Silver Band and included JT's cousin Bryan - they both started in the local colliery band while still in short trousers.
