He was the lead singer in the group whose name escapes me that did "The Eggplant That Ate Chicago". Later on as Norman Greenbaum, he did "Spirit in the Sky". Really. They are all the same guy. I have know idea what he's doing now, but a friend who I trust not to give me false information claimed years ago that Mr. Wolf was living in NYC and working for the Ronald Reagan presidential campaign. I hope you're not one to let that sway your opinion of his music, although I think that leaving music for any kind of politics is a waste of talent, Republican or Democrat. I agree, along with the Muldaurs, he was the best part of that group. A great harmonica player and singer.
