That was one of the few we learned in school, I have heard the first line as 'the Keeper did a-hunting go' and also 'the keeper did a-wooing go' Also amongst the horrors of school I would list green-sleves and dance to your daddy. This was back in the early 60s when at infant school, we had a weekly sit round the radio session with BBC schools and suffered the stigma of getting the triangle (if you dunno what I meen, I'm sure you will figure it out!)
