Willie-O, I met an unfriendly person in Greenwood, NS. I think it may be a islander vs. mainlander thing. (I made a purchase and said that I didn't want a plastic bag, as I had my knapsack. She said, "It has to be one of our bags," and tied the handles in a knot before giving it to me. Kind of funny, really. I've had people look a little surprised that I didn't want a bag, but I've never had someone try to force one on me before...)

In a couple of days I'm going to have a reunion with a girl I lived with in Egypt ten years ago and haven't seen since...
