Hello to my Secret Santa, whoever you are.

1. What is your age range?
I've been on the planet this time for 58 years.

2. Gender?
Grrrrrrrrl.

3. Do you have a favourite color?
Yes. Mostly it's different shades of purple. I also like deep greens and peachy colors. Silver and copper colors are nice, too. Not keen on pale wishy-washy colours.

4. Favourite authors/type of book?
Love Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams (but I have most of them) and their ilk. I like weird humour, books on Pagan subjects, and science fiction. Oh yes, and Leunig.

5. What books have you really been wanting? Nothing in particular springs to mind. I like surprises.

6. What type of music do you like?
Most folk music, music with unusual instruments in - hurdy gurdies, all sorts of pipes, uillean pipes, appalachian dulcimers etc, high energy Irish music, good harmony singing, good classical music when I am in the right mood, and some blues and trad jazz. Hate middle-of-the-road and country and western.

7. What CD's have you really been wanting?
Mostly I'd rather pick them myself, but I'd be interested in one of yours, if you are a musician, or one of the Mudcat CD's.

8. What movies have you been wanting?
My son tells me he's giving me a DVD player for Christmas, so there are a number of movies I wouldn't mind having on DVD (assuming they are compatible with DVD players in Oz). Some of my favourites are -

The TV series of The Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy
A Mighty Wind (haven't seen it yet)
Almost anything with Peter Sellers, particularly The Pink Panther Strikes Back, The Party, and I Love You Alice B Toklas
Harold and Maude and other movies worthy of being on the Weird Movies thread.

9. What is your T shirt size?
I like 'em loose and wide. I'm somewhat vertically challenged but horizontally enhanced, so to speak. Cuddly. Yeah - that's what I like to call it!

10. Do you collect anything? If so, what?
I like miniatures, windchimes and dangly things, things made of copper, brass or glass, essential oils, frig magnets (not too kitchy though), shells, unusual crystals and rocks, hand-made things - anything from your area would be great.

11. What are some of your other hobbies?
Tropical fish, gardening - particularly herbs, camping, pottering around markets, writing silly poems and limericks, trying new and interesting foods (hence my horizontally enhanced state) - that's all I can think of for now.

12. Do you prefer gold-tone or silver-tone jewelry?
I lean somewhat towards silver - I have both - but what I like even more is a pink-gold or copper. Something with a mediaeval feel is interesting but I don't like really chunky jewelry - I prefer fine and delicate - dangly earrings are okay. I have pierced ears.

13. Please include anything else you feel is important that would help your Secret Santa know what you would like.
I'm pretty easy to please. Anything that reflects you, your personality, your music, your interests, your lifestyle or where you live would be greatly valued. I especially like handmade stuff and old stuff. Oh, and old single-malt whisky (hic :-))
