I'll add a brief note here about our visit with Marion, or"Maid Marion" as Don's calls her. She certainly was a very pleasant guest and knows well how to look out for herself. Bride Judy and I both really enjoyed getting to know her and her music.

Hoots are curious events: sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. But the collection of folkies that showed up yesterday was very receptive to Marion, and when those energies are just right, much warm music flowed. Everyone responded to her music and shared their own.

I especially enjoyed the quiet times with just the two of us sharing our songs. And ... she is such a good songwriter. Look out folks, we are going to be hearing a lot of her in the next years. I so admire someone that can take a nubin of an idea and express it succinctly. She knows she'll always be welcome in our home. CHEERS, Bob
