Hey Big Mick, I saw a Roger Smith epic the other day that made me think of you. You remember Roger? He's the guy that did the movie about GM shutting down the plant in Flint Michigan that put thousands out of work. He specializes in confronting the management of mega corporations with the actual impact of their "profit maximization" schemes. Very much a Union Man.

Anyhow, try this one.

Storming Heaven

Jacob (A) El-(G)der (D) is my (A) name
I come (E) from (G)Black-(D) berry (A) Creek
My kin and I (G) we (D)farmed the (A) land
Until the (E) Spring (G)of (D) nineteen (A) three

Gray-suited man from American Coal
He comes down here on the Richmond Train
He's got a deed for the mineral rights
so they turned my family out in the rain

Took my wife and our baby son
Leaving all we had behind
But the Coal folks weren't unkind
I got this job working in the mine

CHO: You're close to (D) Hell
Down in the (E) mine
You can smell the (D) sulphur
You hear the (E) cryin'
But if we or-ganize and (E) pray
We're storming (A) Hea-(G)ven (D) one fine (A) day

So here's a toast to the Working Man, and a round for everyone on the house.
