I will be celebrating in the style of the mexican day of the dead.
Nov. 2 this year i believe.

http://www.public.iastate.edu/~rjsalvad/scmfaq/muertos.html
and i will be joined by many women as we celebrate the
21st annual women's gathering on t4eh first weekend of Nov.
also I will have ashes of both of my parents here to remember
them. also i have found a recipe for making candy and a mold
which shapes it into skulls.....one of the mexican info links
above tells about bread of the dead which you make into bone
shapes, and sugar skulls are often found in mexican celebrations;
I remember one show on Northern Exposure t.v. show where in the
north west there was a celebration that had many skeletons and
crows or ravens....any one know about this tradition? is it at
the same time of year??
