I can't believe I just started peering into this community in May and posting in June. Now, I'm seriously considering a 12-step program! (Like tonight, for instance. I have a column to write, due first thing tomorrow a.m. and what am I doing? Prowling around like a serious mudcat, seeing who's talking about what, stopping to chat about food and music and utter nonsense. I'm telling myself that as I write, I'll get "unstuck" and come up with something brilliant for my column topic...GAWD, I'm self-indulgent.)

I knew I "belonged" when Catspaw gave me s**t about something I'd posted. Teasing is part of the process on many of the threads, so take it in stride. (It's probably one of the reasons so many of us keep coming back. Life is serious, brutal and short out there.)
