I am almost hesitant to post. I have known Bruce for 25 years, and he had called me a week before the Getaway, ostensibly to tell me of a few things he had found to add to some items he had given me a year ago..(tools & such) ...but I felt then that he was 'making contact', because he told me how ill he had been and how he 'almost' didn't get out of his first stay in the hospital. He had an almost uncanny awareness of the state of his health, and a similar acceptance of what it was. He noted at the time that he 'probably' would not make it to the Getaway because he didn't want the hassle of supplemental oxygen interfering....but he left open the possibility of coming for daytime events.

Bruce was am amazing man...he knew so much about so many fields, and when the internet and computer access to MORE music recources became available, he taught himself the necessary skills to create that web site
