There is not much I can add, so I will repeat for emphasis.

I am awed everytime I meet some one who is so involved in their hobby that they are better at it than those who are paid for the same work. When it came to folk songs, Bruce was one of those people.

He was one of the people I really wanted to meet when I attended my first Getaway. He did not disappoint. He looked like a scholar and he was a complete gentleman.

If I asked him about a song, I always learned more than "I" needed. And he did this "off the top" without referring to any literature.

I remember how disappointed I was when I read his "last post." I sent him a PM to tell him I understood his feelings, but I wished he would change is mind. I also told him I would miss him.

It gladdened me to later read anonymous posts that could only have been Bruce. Later he used his Mudcat name.

I know the angels have a whole lot more songs to sing with Bruce up in heaven.
