Well, it is Friday the 13th after all. Yes, I did cook, with produce delivered two hours late and a batch of moldy fylo dough, but I did get two renditions of Happy Birthday over the phone, flowers, and a tiny set of pan pipes, and dinner got cooked, and I sold it all, and went out for a lovely dinner. AND cake at the mudcat Tavern, and a little singed possum and possum-tail fireworks, and well, it's been quite a day.
