This is a terribly serious situation. You might think that the collision of BS with anti-BS would just bring about a more honest and truthful world, where human clarity and perception were much improved, but unfortunately that is not the case on closer inspection.

No, the truth is that human nature and BS are inextricably tied together in such a way that the core ingredients of BS and anti-BS are the same, and are essential to the human perceptic and analysis ability. What would disappear in the case described is not in fact all BS and false information but the ability to understand facts in context! In other words, if BS and anti-BS collide, all we are left with is skimpy facts literally interpreted without flexibility, compassion, insight or depth-- kind of like the Bush regime. Most people don't realize that a per centage of BS is vitally necessary to a well-regulated society in which robotic and literal-minded data is balanced with imagination and understanding. Not to mention soul.
