Well if that's the case - everything fits. Screw the genre names completely.

I'll start regularly posting Jazz, blues, country, ragitime, rock and hip-hop threads regularly. In fact, I encourage all of us to do so. Obviously, I've been wrong - it would be the best thing for the Mudcat to have hundreds of threads on all these kinds of music.

Maybe we can have the powers that be put something up on the banner that encourages 10 threads on the music of Queen, 15 on the music of the Beastie Boys and 20 on the music of Celine Dion. Clearly under the new concept, they are all folk writers and perfomers.
