The heck with inviting him to listen (although that's good, too) - BOOK THE GUY! Seriously, his songwriting is on a part with many Canadian songwriters you've actually heard of, and he sings 'em darned well. He needs a far bigger audience, in my opinion. I heard him at the Getaway and wondered why the blazes it WAS the first time. Easy, relaxed, warm, silly, soul-grabbing or seat-wetting - the songs and the singer run the gamut*.

*Mike doesn't wet seats as far as I know. You might just laugh that hard, though.
