What fun to be reminded of this song! Last time I heard it was in the 60s performed by friends at Brooklyn College who were known as the Shaky Deal Jug Band. They never recorded but enjoyed a bit of success, played on the radio and were on the bill of a folk concert at, I believe, Town Hall. A few -- Richard Blaustein, Gary Lapow and Eric Kaz -- went on to further note in music and may be familiar to some 'catters. Thanks for the memories.
