Well, you could be right there McGrath, which is one reason why I said it was a story that made one take pause.

However, since the male Indian American received the majority of votes in the Republican areas of Louisiana (according to the NYT story, which of course isn't necessarily accurate, and does have it's own eastern liberal intellectual spin to it), I find it more likely that the Bubba voter felt more animosity/antipathy toward a woman candidate than to an immigrant son candidate.
