All this carping because England didn't score a try against France on Saturday! If it had been any wetter, they would have had to play water polo instead.

If building your team's score with penalties and drop goals is so easy, why couldn't the French chap do it, too? Kicking an oval ball in pouring rain and swirling squalls of wind with the accuracy that Wilkinson achieved is positively awesome. However, he didn't do it alone - Rugby is a team game, unlike that other variation of football where 22 overpaid, under-educated, inarticulate prima donnas mince around and consider it a good result when, after 90 minutes of kicking a (more predictable) round ball, neither side has scored!
