Patrick is part Irish and part Native North American--or whatever the politically acceptable term is today. He still lives in NC, and he is still one of the better songwriters ever to come down the pipe. He is one of the most outrageous people I ever met in my life, and I like him very much. That man can tell jokes well, play guitar with the best of 'em, and write songs that get to the core of a person. I spoke with him about six months ago, and he still has a way with words. It was Pat who actually built a 'guitoilet' and hung it on the wall of his apartment in NYC in the sixties. Jaysus, what a guy.
