Mickey: I know you are joking, but just to address this question: since when does grooming equate with hygiene? Shaving has to do with grooming. Washing has to do with hygiene. The fact that a woman does not shave her underarms or legs does not mean she does not wash regularly, nor are they in any way connected, any more than a man who has a beard should be thought to be unlikely to bathe regularly.

Hairy does not equal dirty.

It IS true that the more hair present, the more likely it is to trap bacteria, so one may have to make an effort to be extra clean. Ditching the Arrid may not be a good idea. But not using anti-perspirants (as opposed to deodorants) might be a good idea; the former block pores unnaturally and prevent sweating; the latter help kill bacteria that cause odor. Sweat itself is clean and odorless.
