Whether she qualifies or not Ah, Mickey, what does it take to qualify? Talk about picky!

I don't feel strongly about it, I just think that 'woman' is a good unpretentious designation. I suspect that we picked up 'lady' from "our betters" in times past, whether in England or in highfalutin' society here. Well, I prefer to think that we don't need no stinkin' lady.

Mind you, it is my contention that rather than 'man', the generic should be 'woman'. After all, 'man' is not only implied in the term but is inside. ;)
