My husband tells the story about Lonnie Donigan's manager threatening Leadbelly with a law suit if he didn't stop using Donnigan's material. The material Donnigan got from Leadbelly!! Can't remember if it was just one song. Good story. Anyone else heard it? Is it a performers' myth?
