Yes, Bilbo Baggins is really astounding. It's the only thing Leonard Nimoy succeeded in recording that rivals the best of Shatner for sheer shock value.

Got to agree on "Last Night I Had The Strangest Dream" too, and for the same reasons. It's embarrassing.

MacArthur Park, on the other hand, is very neat both lyrically and musically. Anyone who can't figure out that the melting cake in the rain is a metaphor for the heartbreak of a failed romance should go back and take songwriting 101 all over again. :-)
