as she recorded the definitive versions of Eric Bogle's masterpieces, long before the Irish murdered them, it is assumed that every self respecting 'f-song' enthusiast would possess a June Tabor' 'Anthology' album

To be ignorant of her work means there is serios research work ahead

I very much like her rendition of 'A Place Called England' by Maggie Holland.
It stands as out as THE patriotic song of our times

Bill Caddick was aware of her policy of titling all her albums until recently with a song beginning with the letter 'A', so he wrote 'Aqaba' for her.
'
'The Writing of Tipparary' is a great song by Bill that also appears on 'Anthology' plus 'King of Rome'

Her interpretation of Richard Thompson deserves mention
