I won't try to offer advice on something I haven't done myself. However, if wine isn't quite good enough, the developers - Codeweavers - offer the latest and greatest version for a small fee before GPLing it. That might do the trick. I suspect the VB libraries go in the fake_windows folder but I wouldn't speculate on exactly where.
