Just noticed a couple of words missing from my last post. I hesitate to spoil the image of my daughter heroically taking life by the scruff of the neck, in the face of cruel adversity, but before "who" in the fourth line I should have put "a chum".... It is the chum, not Sorcha, who is disabled (stroke damage).
