Quick update from Portaferry while I'm still here (was over for the new year, heading back to Bristol tomorrow):

We have 2 (TWO) cash machines now - count 'em an' weep. Both are in the Square.
Dumigan's is under new management - don't know what the music situation will be because of this, but I'll check it out.
There's a new session that has started up on Tuesday nights in Sand's, at the bottom of Church Street/corner of Ann Street, but I don't know if there'll be music at a weekend in there as the room is often used for other things. I'll have the family folks put out feelers and find out what's going on.

I'm sorry to hear that the moos won't be coming, but I'll see yous for the Eurogathering, all being well.

Peter K - I've only started on the fiddle, so all being well I'll know 3 or 4 tunes by then, so Sorcha will be in good company!
