Okay, here's a Hilton joke that is SUPPOSED to be a true story.

On the opening day of the Statler Hilton in NYC, they had
a nationwide radio hook-up for the big event. All the big
shots were there, including of course Conrad Hilton.

All the politicians and moviestars had their say. Fiorello
LaGuardia proclaimed that it was a great step forward for
New York.   F.D.R. said how proud it made him to have a
five-star hotel in America.

Finally, the radio announcer invited Mr. Hilton to speak.
"Have you anything to say to Mr. and Mrs. America?"

"Indeed I have. Ladies and gentlemen, PLEASE,
keep the shower curtains on the inside!"
