That's absolutely right, Mack: 'Keep it within and it will always be available.' I can vouch for that. Sitting at the keyboard, describing West Stow and, more importantly, the feelings that place inspires in me, I was transported there. Believe me, I was in a very troubled, lonely space when I started to write my post, but thankfully, 'taking myself' to my special place has dissolved all that. The precious feelings of peace and calm are hidden in us all the time - the special places on this earth, and our visualizing of those places when we are not there in person, can bring those feelings to the surface anywhere and at any time. Thank goodness.
