yeah, Heric, I have searched and not found any image of that unamed little bay, the end of the Ross of Mull nearest to Iona is all red granite that breaks down to a pink sand (for images look for rocks near the ferry to Iona atFionnaphort) but the south side of the Ross near Uisken and towards Ardalanish is Mica Schist which gives a glaring white sand, but due to wind and water activity tends to dilute the pink effect, the North coast is more hilly and sheltered and apparently not so diluted.
