I would be interested in any comments any of you might about the Gibson Hummingbird model. I have heard that it is a fine guitar that will hold its value well. Any pros and/or cons will be appreciated.

To take it a step further, what guitar would you recommend in the $1,000 to $1,500 price range? I'm not even sure The Hummingbird is in that price range.
