I have a spool of tape from about 1964 with an interview of Alexis done for our college newspaper (The Courier at UCW Aberystwyth). I've had no means of playing it since about 1968, and no means of identifying which tape it is out of three (the others full of ancient folk club performances). I'd love to have them copied onto a CDROM if someone out there could do it.
The interview was conducted by the late John Snelling, who later wrote some powerful books on Buddhism and Mount Kailash. I sat there in awe listening to him interview a very wise guy who had a lot of depth to his experience and knowledge of blues music. A privelege.
