If not "Blue Peter", how about "Salt Peter" or the "Guano Boys"?

So many fine names! Each nominee should be assessed carefully over a can of grog.

How about "The Waisters" (those crewmen who hauled lines in the middle portion of the ship's deck and lacked the skill to work aloft or do anything else useful)?
