Last June I attended the Nyckelharpa festival in Österbybruk, Sweden.
I think it is always the weekend before midsommer. there were hundreds
of nyckelharpas~yet it was not a huge festival. In September or October
there is a Nordic Music Fewstival in Minneapolis/St.Paul area. I have been to this too. Also a Scandinavian festival in Turlock "CA in late Sept. though it may not have been this year, Scandifest or Skandifest,
is (or was?) fun--the best part being the re-created villages of Sami and Vikings...
