Hi U.K. Mudcatters

I'm leaving Saturday (Sept. 4) for a month in your fair land and I'd love to hear suggestions on folk pubs in your areas.

We'll be in the London area for a few days, then heading through the Midlands, up toward Scotland (tho' not likely into it) and Wales, then back down into the Lake District and ultimately back to London.

I'm not too interested in festivals or big concert venues, mostly looking for intimate little pubs with good music and friendly people. Maybe even places I could join in the music. I play mostly blues and ragtime, but enjoy other forms as well.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
