For Wales, this listing seems to be the best. http://www.folkwales.org.uk/listings.html

In my part, North West Wales, I like the mainly Irish session in Bangor on a Friday night the best. I have not checked the listing this time but in my area, the only entry that might be wrong is the Rhyl Folk Club on a Friday night. I might give it as the Bee which is closed. As far as I understand, it has moved to Costigans which is opposite it.

A couple more notes: The Llandudno session on a Thursday night is friendly but very quite - usualy 3 or 4 beginners.

The Conwy Session on a Sunday night is chaos and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone at the moment. I get free beer for organising this one but there are times when I wonder whether it is worth it although the holiday season is nearly over so things should settle down a bit.
