I agree with the last two people. I never ask I never mention it. The only airlines that refused to let me carry my guitar on to the plane was QANTAS ant they covered the case with so many fragile stickers it was hard to make out what the case looked like.

One word of warning, you want to be the first on the plane so you have enough room in the overhead compartment.
