ONe thing you can do is traffic only in text formatted email, not HTML formats... (no posies on the borders) and filter your email to put anything in HTML format into a Junk folder. This alone will cut down your spam by 85%. If you need to you vcan refine it so the filter only hits on HTML from someone not in your address book, depending on which app you are using.
