The South Riding Folk Network maintains a large (though not guaranteed!) listing of folk clubs and pub sessions in the South Yorkshire & North Derbyshire area in their online directory at: http://welcome.to/srfn

If you find yourself in Sheffield, "Fagan's", a pub on Broad Lane near the city centre, is generally a good bet; many of the resident musicians are of a pretty high standard, though it can get crowded. The music is mainly Irish-related, but it's worth mentioning that Keith Hinchliffe, one of the Wednesday night residents, also plays some impressive ragtime guitar.

Have a great time!
