Guys, I thiught you did great for a first show. I know you'll find it easier as you go along, all the tech screwing around and all has got to be a bit nerve racking...BUT RELAX!!! Hellfire guys, you're not on WNBC or something....YOU ARE JUST TALKING TO FRIENDS!!!! And we'll love it no matter what!!!

More music would be nice, but more talk is certainly OK too. You each oughta' do a song like you did. Bert, do some more of your own, here's the chance. And "Blind Waxin' Max" (blues player's names don't have to make sense) can do another blues. I'd try a different Mic setup for it since although the guitar was loud, it wasn't distinct, as were the voices. I'd also STRONGLY suggest using "Singer's Request" for the closing number on the show. Use an original for the opening and perhaps another original to introduce some segment, but "Singer's Request" is one helluva' a nice piece (off a GREAT album too) and it's words are really applicable to all of us, the family and village of Mudcat.

I liked the "Best from the Threads" idea Bert...just remember your notes next time. You could include a general rundown of the week's thread "ambiences" since that seems to happen around here.

I'm looking forward to the next show...which should be easier if you get some messages and calls. Are we better off sending e-mails or messages during the show? Is chat looking like a go?
