Kat, thank you very much for those suggestions. I intend to print out this entire thread. It's amazing! I have my doubts about Atkins' diet for me, because it's so high in sat fat and cholesterol. I have read one of his books, plus a book called "Beyond Pritikin," about using high-fiber foods to stabilize one's glucose and insulin levels.I'm supposed to restrict fat, salt, carbs and sugar. I restrict 'em, but if I cut them out entirely I'll be reduced to eating grass! - Rita F
