WOW !!!!!!! I'm dumbfounded. After all those years of being nominated, CATHY AND MARCY, finally and deservedly, WON !!!! Just last week they were here in Peru for a grand visit and dinner and I got to tell 'em, "By God, this is your year !!" But I'd told them that all those other years too. It simply must've been all those good vibes we laid on 'em in person. But really, of course, it was the superb musicianship, writing and arranging, all of it. They always pick great musicians for all of their projects. These two can play just about any kind of music that has ever been. I'm just so happy I can split a gut. WOW!!!! I'm starting to repeat myself and it's late--but this news has me so wired I'll not be able to sleep for sure.
And I'm embarrassed to say that we never even watched the show the other night---or last night or whatever. -------------- All I can fumblingly mutter is that I couldn't be happier for both of them !!! WOW!!! WOW!!! WOW!! Congratulations.
