I heard that that was malicous gossip spread by malevolent members of another penguin organisation called Penguinist Voice (PV). They were based in Manchester, mainly in the academic bits in that city and had applied for a Government Grant to stop the exploitation of sister penguins in the Guano factories on South Georgia. They (PV) were turned down because M.I.6 believed that they had supported Argentinian Emporer Penguins when they attemted to sieze those islands in 1982.
