Actually, TwentyNine Palms is a huge expanse of rock and sand where the Marine Corps conducts training exercises with real tanks and howitzers and such. We aretesting some devices we are developing for using their radios to provide an integrated display of unit locations for managing the training exercises and preventing accidental death (by knowing who is where more clearly). So it's radios and computers, basically.
