I'd like to suggest an award for a regular dance event, and make a nomination. Citation below.

A year or so ago, Alan and Theo of "The Unicorn" fame started a monthly barndance in Hitchin town hall. The got good bands and excellent callers and made use of local performers (morris, sword dancers, mummers etc.) for the interval. It was a bit quiet to start with, but they have persevered and now it is quite a healthy and lively event with a regular following as well as a good few non-regulars every month. So ... Unicorn Ceilidhs, Hichin.

Since I've said that, what about a secion for local folk magazines. I'll nominate Unicorn (Beds, Herts, Bucks) anyway.
