Thanks for the lnk, Joe. To save people time, the answer to my request for identification of all three pictures on the cover: they are Eliza Carthy, Henry Burstow,and Ewan McColl. An interesting set. I can see why Burstow(example of source singer that supplies the contents of the book);Carthy(most successful young person who sings material out of the book); but why McColl? The book is not about fantastic sonwriters, slobbering adulators of Stalin, or great interpreters of Scottish ballads.
