We were playing a gig in a local pub once when the young lad-about-town asks if his girlfriend can come and do a number with us because she has, allegedly and I quote, " A well good voice".So we obligingly invite her up, only to witness her utter chagrin and shock that we don't have, and once again I quote " the words on a little screen". She thought my music stand contained some sort of karaoke device.....bless.
