No I was not referring to Am buachaill ban but indeed the Irish Mo bhuachaillin ban. Buachall means lad or boy in Irish Gaelic, but it measn shepherd in Scottish Gaelic.

I wnt to your version of teh words and saw the note from one Craig requesting the translation. I could do one for you if you want when I get minute: Craig asks what "gini" means: I'm fairly sure it just means gin (as in "gin and tonic"!).
